About UsHistoryIn December 2006, Phoenix Building Solutions, Inc. was founded by Ed Fanning and Nick Jevic, managing directors and founders of FNJ Group, Inc., a private investment firm in Cincinnati, Ohio.On February 20, 2007, Phoenix Building Solutions, Inc. acquired the assets and business of Hay Albert Acquisition Company, Inc. (the “Acquisition”), including the brand name Benchmark Homes, from Mr. Daniel P. Riedel. Located in Brookville, Ohio, Phoenix Building Solutions is a leading designer and manufacturer of highly engineered, customized, quality, system-built modular single family homes, carriage houses, row houses, town houses, apartment buildings, and condominium buildings made to order for builders and developers in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. Since 1946, Phoenix Building Solutions, its predecessor companies and their affiliates built and marketed over 30,000 homes and developed and built over 2,000 multi-family units in 20 multi-family communities, valued at over $100 million. Concurrent with the Acquisition, Thomas C. Hennings became the Company’s new president and chief operating officer. Led by Tom Hennings, the Company quickly repositioned its product line, upgraded its facilities, and streamlined its operations. Today, using the latest building techniques and manufacturing technologies, the Company is able to quickly respond to the changing needs of the market and deliver virtually any product – single family home, carriage house, row house, town house, apartment building, or condominium building – in virtually any configuration to its customers. New homebuyers soon discover that a home from Phoenix Building Solutions is of a higher quality and has more standard features with a lower cost per square foot. Homes from Phoenix Building Solutions have many standard features and equipment that many builders would charge for as upgrades. Prior to its acquisition by Phoenix Building Solutions on February 20, 2007, Benchmark Homes and its affiliates were engaged in the building business since 1946. |
